Shipping Policy

National Switchgear (NSG) offers a wide variety of shipping options. After you submit a completed order and we get approval of your specified payment option, we release your order to our production department.

Lead times for individual items may fluctuate based on the availability of the items ordered and other factors that affect our production processes. Most domestic in-stock orders received before 1:00pm CST ship the same day. Unless specified in your instructions, our most common method of shipment for smaller items is FedEx. In addition to standard ground shipping, we also offer air shipments via next day, 2-day and 3-day. The amount of time that it takes from the order date to the ship date will depend on your individual requirements, the available lead times and the shipping option you choose.

Items that are larger in size typically will ship via a motor freight carrier. NSG contracts with several carriers and has prearranged agreements that provide for full insurance of your item while in transport. For your motor freighted item to be fully insured, NSG must prepay and add freight costs.

All freight charges are calculated based on daily carrier rates.

International orders are defined as any order that ships outside of the 50 United States of America. International buyers are responsible for all taxes and other shipping costs associated with shipping internationally.
